Our Wild Boar Cellars ‘Porton’ is our take on a ruby port-style wine made from Norton, a native grape of Virginia. Crafted by stopping fermentation with the addition of Catoctin Creek Brandy, the resulting wine is incredibly rich, deliciously sweet, with a beautiful backbone of acidity that keeps the wine feeling fresh. This style really shows off the unctous dark fruit aromas of black cherry and plums that characterise the Norton grape.
