With 13 acres of Chardonnay, our largest white varietal planting, and 13 different clones, we see a vibrant variety of styles with every vintage. This wine is lovely and could certainly be compared to Chablis from the northernmost part of Burgundy. Crafted entirely in stainless steel, this Chardonnay has a way of winning over everyone, from devoted fans to the “I don’t like Chardonnay” crowd. In the glass, it shines a welcoming medium straw color. On the nose, you’ll find honeydew melon, apple, Bartlett pear, and a delicate floral hint of jasmine. Take a sip, and the pear and apple come rushing in. Mid-palate, a subtle and refreshing salinity appears, adding depth and intrigue. The wine is beautifully composed and laser-focused, and just when you think it’s done, that salinity surges forward again, carrying into a long, mouthwatering finish that begs for another sip.
