This is the fourth rosé crafted from Nebbiolo – the best so far! When Nebbiolo is mentioned, our minds immediately shift to the kings of red wine, Barolo and Barbaresco. If the reds are the king, is rosé the queen? This wine is intriguing in the glass, glowing with a striking copper hue that hints at something exciting and a bit unusual. It pulls you in with its personality, capturing the fruit’s essence in a way that feels vivid, expressive, and just a little unexpected. The nose is energetic with strawberry, pomegranate, and cranberry. On the palate, we experience an unexpected juiciness and panache, much like a Provence rosé. The wine softens on the finish, and there is an almost satin texture begging for yet another sip. The perfect food pairing? Let’s have some pizza! Choose Margherita or prosciutto and artichoke.
